@FrenchToast1996 I know it’s really tempting to “give in”, but it ain’t over till it’s over! UW is a lot more delayed in their decisions this year than previous winter admissions, and there’s really nothing we can do but try to stay positive and not freak out. Lol

As far as I’m concerned it doesn’t seem as if any general admissions have received their letters yet and quite a few of us have not had our transcripts load yet. Plus there has yet to be another wave of transcripts loading. So stay positive guys! Definitely not over if no one has yet to get their letters of acceptance from general admissions! I hate this talk of rejection when that has yet to happen, it’s bumming me out…

A complete packet of information about admission and enrollment is mailed approximately 5 - 10 days from the date your admission status was updated in our data base. Please allow sufficient time for the mail to reach you, especially if you live outside of Washington state. "

Hi guys, my transcript loaded today.
I know you guys are pretty nervous so I wanted to give as much info as possible:
- Out of State (California)
- 3.52 GPA (University of California, Riverside)
- “Pre-sciences” - Comp Sci
- I took 1 calc class, and classes in Java, C++, Python, mySQL, CSS/jQuery. (All A’s)
- I also do my own research in computational methods, 1st place in several conferences.
Hm, so I guess the “wait for the letter in postal mail” is just b.s. after all.
Already an Out of State wave…? 
Congratulations for those who got in already. I wish we could all get notified at the same time& don’t understand why that’s not happening since it’s so late in the game.
Hi everyone. I’m an in-state transfer student, who also hopes of going to UW Seattle. I confirmed to UW Bothell already, and thought that was my first choice, but now I’m not so certain. Although, after today, I feel pretty certain that I am getting rejected.
Congrats to everyone who has their letters, transcript, etc!
I am really bummed that my transcript has not loaded either but I’m trying to not freak out as best as I can. Lol. The UW admissions folks will get to me when they get to me and there isn’t anything I can do about it. I don’t see any signs on myUW that I have been accepted or rejected, so it’s not rational to assume one way or the other yet.
Everyone please remember that GA decisions are sent out in RANDOM order! Location, grades, credits and such have nothing to do with it. Some OOS folks hear back earlier than others.
Also I feel like it is important to remember that UW accepts most instate CC transfers that apply (over 50%). It’s not like Harvard or something where admissions are a total crapshoot. If you meet the requirements they ask for and wrote a decent essay, there is no reason to worry until you get a rejection letter.
Of the stages of grieving, I’ve already been through depression… I’m in the “acceptance” stage where I’m just trying to deal with whatever decision I get from UW. And so far there isn’t any reason to believe that they have even looked at my app. lol
GUYS… I GOT ACCEPTED. My Transcript didn’t load but my application status says Congratulations :’)
