Should I mention I was awarded the Provost Scholarship during my interview for the Presidents Scholarship.

I don't want them thinking I was already awarded enough money and not want to give me the Presidents scholarship but it may help showing them what kind of a
Candidate I truly am.

They Pres Office has already decided what kind of candidate you are on paper, the interview is to determine people skills, leadership, and to dig deeper into some of your ECs.

If you would like to mention it and are given the opportunity, I don’t see a problem in bringing it up. However, I don’t think it would be helpful, especially if it doesn’t naturally fit in somewhere. Remember: you want to come off as confident and capable, not conceded.

FYI: acceptance to PS is roughly based on a point system. Your interview has many potential points in specific categories and (as far as I know) academics is not one of them.

The provost scholarship is so new, with no established/published criteria at all nor program around it, so it likely won’t mean anything to the alumni interviewing you (as Provost award is a couple years old, where as President’s is 30+ years old!). The central President’s folks should know that you got Provost, but that shouldn’t affect if you get PS or not.
