EarlVanDorn - Would it be too much trouble to add the Selection Index scores to your chart - I think they are as or more relevant that the total scores. For us - 1470 was a 218 bc of verbal (710 (R - 35, W- 46) & math at 760 (38)).
There is a thread on http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/sat-act-tests-test-preparation/1816872-psat-discussion-thread-2015.html that has selection index. Because of the way a selection index is calculated, they do not always reconcile with a scaled score (0-1520). The same scaled score for one student may have a different selection index for another based on the split between reading/writing/math subject scores.

@jerzmaster – for the chart – 1470 - SI 218 - 99%ile on all 3 “User” subscores (R = 35, R+W = 36, M= 38)

@CA1543 I sent you a message, but I am going to add the scaled score to the chart. Right now there is not much info to add to the chart. The purpose of the chart is to try to allow people to guesstimate their SI percentile, which isn’t always easy to do. My son’s SI score is SI, which I guesstimate to be in the 99.3rd percentile, but this is purely a guess. I simply can’t know.
I’m going to try to look over some old selection index percentiles and maybe some scores that went with them before I add this. Hopefully today people will add some more data.
I really need the percentile for a total score of 1350 and 1330 and below; also 690 verbal, 660 verbal, and 640 and below; and 720 math, 670-80 math, and 650 and below. I need the user or test taker percentile, not the national population percentile.
ALSO NOTE TO ALL: When I started this I said we were going to use the percentile that appeared next to the score. This is actually the population percentile. The user percentile is actually more helpful. That number is down in the report, and I am trying to switch all the numbers to that.
NC
- 99th pop % 99th user % SI 218
R/W 730 99th pop % 99th user %
M 720 99th pop % 98th user %
@EarlVanDorn Why is the user percentile more helpful? From what I understand, the nationally representative percentile is based on all the other HS juniors taking the test.
More 1370 total score info from my daughter:
V730 - 99th nationally represented sample percentile and 99th for PSAT/NMSQT user percentile
M640 - 94th and 93rd
T1370 - 99th and 98th
Selection Index: 210
State: Missouri
Concordance table section sub scores add up to a range of 209 - 215. Missouri scores have ranged from high of 214 for class of 2007 to a low of 209 for classes 2015 and 2016.
Hopefully waiting for September. Weird to see the downward trend of scores in Missouri.
@EarlVanDorn - you said " My son’s SI score is SI, which I guesstimate to be in the 99.3rd percentile, but this is purely a guess. I simply can’t know."
I think you meant to say what his SI was?
[Edit - from the first post in the thread, I think it’s 211?]
How are you guesstimating what part of the 99th percentile an SI is in?
Texas
1440 – 99th sample and user
760 Math – 99th sample and user
680 Verbal – 99th sample; 98th user
SI 212
any guesses for Texas cutoff? I think 212 is too low …
Ohio, 740 (v), 700 (m), 1440 (99%), SI 218
All stats are use percentile. NY, 1430 (99th), RW 700 (99th), M 730 (98th) SI 213
@ctaylors6 I disagree with you and think you have a great chance in Texas! We will all need to wait the 8 months and find out.
V650, 96th sample, 95th user; M750, 99th sample & user; T1400, 99th sample & user

740 m 99% both

690 - Reading/Writing - 98th Percentile
730 - Math - 98th Percentile

I don’t know how to edit my post #97. If I did, I would add State: TN and No TASP email
