Can’t wait until scores come. I know of one question I got wrong so far, but I’m still hoping for a 230+. :)

I can’t wait either. Hoping for a 220.

Argh… I’m getting worried. My Sophomore PSAT results were done without studying…

Selection Index - 189 (93)
Critical Reading - 68 (97)
Math - 58 (89)
Writing v- 63 (94)

I skipped nine math questions, which certainly hurt my score. Not to mention, I dislike math, anyway.

I took a practice PSAT about a week before the 2010 PSAT, and I got…

Critical Reading - 80
Math - 54
Writing - 61
Total - 195

This year, I skipped three questions total (all in the math section). I’m one of those people who likes to know what the test is like in advance, so I’m fairly sure that I did better on this year’s PSAT than last year’s. But then again, I don’t seem nearly as competent as half of the people on this board… Well, I guess we’ll see. Cutoff in my state has hovered from 211-218, so I doubt that I made NMS, but if I’m lucky, maybe I’ll get Commended status.

Waiting for scores is killing me… I don’t get mine until mid-December (supposedly). D:

School told us December 10th is the day.

When does it show in your CB account? Next January after everyone receives letter from school?

December 10th is about when my school got the results last year. I never got my test booklet back, though.

Yes, I know it’s a bit late, but I feel like gloating.

Sophomore PSAT: (no prep, severe bladder issues, and still highest so far in this thread!)

Total: 229 (99)
CR: 72 (99)
M: 79 (99)
W: 78 (99)

Sophomore SAT:

December 2009: (no prep)

Total: 2290 (99)
CR: 720 (99)
M: 790 (99)
W: 780 (99) (I blame my 8 on the essay…)

I’d like to break 2300 eventually, but whether I did this time on the PSAT depends on how lucky I was with writing. Hopefully I’m not stuck in this rut permanently.

what you should brag about is matching your psat with sat. see if you can do it again!

Collegeboard website says the scores will be online in December, you can signup for e-mail notifications.

If I keep this up, I could be the only applicant to get the same score and subscores four times in a row. Would that be a hook?

purplepotato: FYI, My S scored 230 PSAT Sophomore (no prep) and 2400 SAT Junior this Oct.

Was I asking for you to gloat about your son? He got the score, not you. I was looking for something more like a private gloating session, but now you’ve come and ruined the fun with your son’s marginally better scores. Thanks for not helping.

LOL. You can ace it too. That was my point.

^^jason: scores will be on-line. but to access you need a code on your score report. so you are still at the mercy of when schools give out score reports.

So it won’t just replace the scores I have on there from sophomore year?

my PSAT score from sophomore year was WAY off. i got a 150. i got a 1550 SAT in eighth grade.
when i took SATs june 2010 (sophomore year) i got an 1810. and in Oct 2010 (junior year) a 1940.

PSATs are a bad predictor. they shouldnt tell us to add a 0 to the end.

Oh gosh I am so anxious!! I can’t wait til the results come in!! December is just around the corner,so I hope they won’t take THAT long. Really hoping for the best.

I’m so terrified of my score dropping!

Sophomore PSAT: SI 233
CR: 80
M: 75
W: 78

I took my first SAT and had a 2370, but I’m still worried that something just might have gone wrong during the PSAT. I’m in DC, so I can’t lose many points while still being eligible for National Merit. I’m waiting with bated breath until I get my scores!

D was told by GC today that scores would be mailed out this Friday, 12/3, and should be received at school early next week.
