You should be good with a 216 in GA. It has been as high as 218 several yrs ago, but after the PSAT revisions a few years back, the scores all seemed to drop a few points, and GA has been around 214-15

I am new to this webcite, n befor signing up i believed that using this webcite i could figure out my past PSAT score, is this true?

Could you rephrase your question? I am not sure what you are asking.

Unfortunately, some confusion in my state of residence (etc.) mght keep me from qualifying, though my scores probably shouldn’t.

R: 80
M: 76
W: 75

The people on this site make me feel like I’m below average when I’m pretty sure I’m not =P
CR: 72
Math: 70
Writing: 59 <– really screwed that one up, somehow…
Total: 201

^You’re not, don’t worry! You might make Commended status.

Does anyone know if they mail out something in April? Is it just a “you’ve gotten a high score on your PSAT” type of letter?

I got a 194 as a sophomore and scored 2000-2100s on practice SATs. Then I studied some vocab, did some practice, and wound up with a 234 PSAT and a predicted 2300+ on the March SAT.

77 CR, 76 Math, 71 W = 224 i forgot what the % was sry. Somewhere in the nineties i think

Edit: BTW, the test prep forum is probably one of the worst places to do a survey of psat scores. the majority of hs kids (the ones making up the bulk of % of hs kids we scored better than) don’t go on the internet to talk about grades.

I got a 219 (68 CR, 80 M, 71 W). Not happy with the scores, but good enough for semifinalist hopefully.

73 CR 80 M 78 W which comes out to 231.

I did pretty terribly. As a soph I got a 213 which I was pretty happy about. As a junior…a 198. I did not break 70 in any section. So. Bad.

i got:
77 CR
80 M
80 W
for a 237 overall…

i live in NJ…so does this mean im def a semifinalist?

^ That scores make you a semifinalist ANYWHERE.

How do you know what the cut offs are for your state for 2012?

^Look at last year’s scores and you can judge by those.

I’ve got 231 in PSAT(CR 71/Math 80/Writing 80)
Just after a week: I’ve got 2220 (CR 740/Math 720/ Writing 760) (1st sitting) in SAT
I’ve got 2350 in SAT (CR 800/Math 800/ Writing 750) (2nd sitting)
I decided not to take it again this year (Now I am a junior).

I got a 219 on my psat (68 cr, 80 m, 71 w) and a 2300 on my sat (800 cr, 710 m, 790 w). Based on my score distributions at least, the psat is really not a predictor for the sat…

Got a 227
SAT should be coming shortly, yo.
34 on ACT

got 201 for the psat…
got 2240 for the actual sat [in jan.]

I’m very pleased with my PSAT score. I got a 35 point increase from last year, so I got a 235 with perfect scores in reading and math. I’m looking forwards to my National Merit Scholarship Semifinalist letter in August. :)
