<p>When are the National Merit Commended student awards or cutoff score announced? I got a 201 and am really anxious on whether or not I’ll get commended although the cutoff has been 201 for the past couple years now.</p>

<p>Practice SAT’s all had higher writing scores. Reading is pretty consistent. Math-- Obviously would like higher on math, but happy D broke 600!</p>

<p>Do you think a PSAT score of 223 will qualify for a NMSF status. I am worried because my individual percents were 98% fro math, 98% reading and 99% for writing in Washington state.</p>
<p>My PSAT was 204, but my real SAT scores are 2250(1st test in December). 2270(2nd test in January), and 2220(3rd in March). My super score is 2300 now. I am all set for SAT now. I am not going to take any more.</p>

<p>I don’t remember the sub scores but I got a 200. Narrowly missed commend :(.</p>
<p>I got a 176 on PSAT. I wasn’t motivated b/c I’m not a citizen and I just plainly suck at grammar, but I’m awesome at math. After reviewing for actual SAT, I can’t believe how stupid my errors on the PSAT were.</p>
<p>D got a letter from her school telling her she could send her scores to two colleges. I’m assuming this means she made Commended status. Anyone else get a letter?</p>
<p>Yeah, I got one, 76 CR 80 M 75 W, 231 total.</p>
<p>D got the same letter about sending scores to colleges, but it wasn’t really a congrats to say she made commended or tell what the cutoff was (she got a 216 in OH). D asked GC about it today and was told that was the letter to say she was commended.</p>
