psychology program?

i heard ann arbor has a pretty good psycholgy program, what are some requirements to get into the psychology program at ann arbor?

There are no requirements for undergraduates. All you need to do is get into the college of LSA and then, you are free to major in whatever subject you like.

No requirements at all. Psych here is unbelievable. Go for it.

michwoman-how hard are the courses? ive already done ap psych. so what kind of ap classes do you recommend me to take right now as preparation?

Hmm, I highly recommend getting any intro sciences and AP calc out of the way because those classes are far harder than the AP exams! If you intend to take any hard sciences, make sure you have at least AP Bio or Chem out of the way. This will also be extremely helpful if you decide to major in neuroscience. Since you've already taken AP Psych, I have nothing else to suggest really. AP Stats is good preparation for Stats 350, the required stats course for all psych majors, but you will not receive credit for Stats 350. You'll only receive some for Stats 100. There are three psych tracks at U of M: pure psych, cognition and perception (brain, behavior and cognitive sciences is the name of the major) and neuroscience. All are excellent. It sounds to me like you're already on track. Best of luck!

alright, thanks michwoman!
