Hey guys I have a question. When I went to see my counselor she showed me my records and I have two different GPA, one is calculated with my grade point and the units I've managed to complete, and another one is calculated with my grade points with the units I've ATTEMPTED. She said the UC's looked at the one with my grade points and the units that I've COMPLETED, which is the one that's higher, is this true? Sometimes I don't trust the things counselor says because she doesn't sound like she knows much, I had to correct her on some of the informations she gives me.

Well i had something like that too. except my school only calculated one gpa. i had a course, that was stupid of me to take, but for 100 volunteer hour for a semester i got 2 credits. it filled some humanities requirement. But i guess did you drop some class that is still on your transcript or was this a class that you were just given a pas/fail? I would check with the admissions of where you are applying. they can give you a for sure answer.

It's in a class that I failed in yes. An F in Computer Assisted Drawing and Painting, which are not in the IGETC, lower division, nor is it UC transferable and I've changed my major to psychology.
