Reading about the meal plans and would someone explain this to me. The "Any 13" plan (I understand you get 13 meals) which comes with room and board says you may have 2 meals during a meal serving period twice a week. What exactly does that mean...that you can eat twice during the scheduled time for dinner if you want? And why don't the dining halls serve dinner on Saturday?
Thanks.

The "Any 13" is kind of the basic meal plan. You get up to 13 meals a week (no rollovers, use it or lose it - if you want rollover, do the "135 Meal Plan"). You can use your card twice for a meal (i.e. you're incredibly hungry, or you have a guest who is eating in the dorms, etc.). You can also use that second "meal" to go and use it at one of the places like Alice's Place (Alice Lloyd) or the Markely Underground (Mary Markley) and buy snacks for a meal credit.

Personally, I use the "Flex 13" because it's pretty much the same as the "Any 13" but you get $175 for Entree Plus and if you don't use it at the end of the year, it is put back into your account. Entree Plus is good for snacks, doing laundry, etc.
