Question about Multicultural Weekend

I was accepted, and received an invite to Multicultural Weekend. To me, it seems really nice of Wash U to offer to fly me out from PA to visit the campus (I've never been there before). However, the chances of me going there are relatively slim since I have a LL to Dartmouth, and would probably take Dartmouth over Wash U (I also get to hear back from 12 more schools... joy). So, my question is, even if I'm not really considering Wash U too heavily at the moment, should I go? Would it be bad of me to go even though I probably won't end up matriculating?

Go, it may change your mind.

WUSL has a very good pre-med program, you may find something is better than Dartmouth, Why not go there and enjoy this experience

i agree. its worth your time and worth the money that you don’t even have to pay. the campus is gorgeous and st. louis is a cool town. Go for it.

@meowmix,

I’m in a similar spot as you. I didn’t get $cholarships from WashU and since my state flagship school has offered me a free ride, the chance of going to WashU is VERY slim, but it WAS my first choice and going there (for the free weekend) sounds like so much fun … IDK, I COULD use the trip to try to have them reconsider the $cholarships??

Never turn down a free trip. I accepted free trips to schools I wasn’t even applying to.

Thanks guys. I just signed up.
