Question about the TOEFL test

<p>Ok, I'm a chinese american with U.S.A citizenship... but I have been living in the USA for only three years.
I get a 22 in speaking but near perfect in both listening and reading.
The Johns Hopkins's minimum for speaking score is 25....
I just wonder.. do i still have a chance?
In my school, I'm in the forensic team and have excellent debating/public speaking skills. I got into the maryland student page program and heavily involved in political activities ....
I don't know why I get such a low score in speaking....
The speaking test is weird and i nearly fell asleep during the listening test.
I think it was because i had nothing to talk about during that test....
By the way, I have a 30 in my ACT.... 29 for reading... 27 for English.. 32 for science.. 33 for math... and 8 for writing. </p>

<p>AM I SCREWED? :(</p>

<p>You should take the TOEFL again. Since it is a required exam for a student with your background and it is STRONGLY RECOMMENDED for students to meet our minimums for each sub-score. We are able to admit students who do not meet the minimums for each TOEFL sub-score however we rarely do so. One's chances for admission are severely impacted by not obtaining our minimum scores.</p>
