<p>Hello to all, I know a couple of people the like UA. Yet i have also heard many negative things about it. mainly about the city of tucson. the people i talked to say the campus is pretty good yet that tucson is “ghetto” and full of run down houses and such. I wanted to know honestly how the campus and area is. Every source that i hear from has a completely different view about everything.</p>
<p>Tucson is pretty bad, but it's not TOO bad. However, the campus and its immediate surroundings are awesome.</p>
<p>Tucson is like any city anywhere, there are beautiful houses in the foothills and mountains, and Tucson is surrounded by 4 mountain ranges on each side. There are beautiful resorts , many movie stars are sighted because of Canyon Ranch and there are run down sections . It is not by the university at all however. There is plenty to do and tons of outdoor activities.</p>
<p>The only ghettos I've spotted in Tucson are the resort ghettos and the student ghettos...</p>
