Question and Chances about the Brown Med Program

Hi, I was wondering if anyone knew about the Brown Med Program or is part of it. I just wanted some feedback on how good it is.

Also, I am planning on applying to Brown and their med program early decision. Here are my stats so far (i am a rising senior)

Standardized Test Scores: 33 ACT composite (36 Math, 36 Science)

GPA: 4.1 Unweighted (taken AP Chem and AP Euro–still waiting on the AP scores, and taking AP Calc BC, AP Physics, AP Art, AP Bio, and AP US next year)

No class rank.

SAT IIs for Chemistry and Math IIC is required for the program. Although I have taken neither so far, I anticipate getting 800 on Math IIC and probably in the 750s or something for Chem.

Extra Curriculars: SPRI research internship for Governor’s School over this summer. 90 hours of Hospital work last summer. Played tennis in 9th and 10th grade, will play senior year. A passion for math–ok, didn’t know how else to put it. I’ve done welll in math contests and went to ARML this summer in Penn State. Other random science and math crap along with school awards.

Other than all that, nothing else that’s really special. Do I have a decent chance of getting into the Med Program. I here it’s really difficult to get in. =(

o, lol. i think i should say PLME...I think that's the name of the Med Program right? I feel like a complete idiot not even knowing the name of the program :P

Also, I live in South Carolina and am Indian if that makes a difference.

In my opinion, you have a chance, but only about 20 make it in ED. You have to write a really fantastic essay to stand out. Is the 4.1 weighted or unweighted, because even though you said it was unweighted wouldn't the max be 4.0? Unless I've gotten UW/W mixed up.
