Question regarding the USC articulation agreement

Hello this is my first time posting here.

I'm trying to figure out my CC classes in order to transfer to USC as a junior for Business Administration. I used the USC website for their atriculation agreements and here's what showed up: https://camel2.usc.edu/TPG/DispRprt.aspx

Unfortunately I cannot fullfill the "Economics Requirement" from my community college. I've also looked at other community colleges in my area to see if I could fullfill USC's "Economics Requirement" and couldn't find anything. Next to the requirement is the word "Needs" so it seems that I need to fullfill this course at any local CC in order to be able to transfer to USC.

Does anybody have any suggestions? Should I just explain in my letter that I couldn't fullfill this requirement at any local CC or will it be pointless and they'll just throw out my application? Would it be best to ask my counselor about this? Thank you.

Call USC up tomorrow and ask them what classes will fulfill the Economics requirement. Did you already apply to USC or something?

Our D developed an excellent rapport with her USC transfer admissions counselor and directed her questions about courses to him. Email and phone contact worked, but the former was slightly better so she could print out the responses to minimize confusion. I’d recommend you contact that USC staffer assigned to your geographic area. Good luck!

SofaKing - good advice from the above posters. You may also want to keep in touch with other people hoping to transfer to USC at this thread:
