Question regarding UCSD expenses

Hey everyone, since I just got admitted to UCSD I need to know a little about the expenses. I got accepted to ERC (Eleanor Roosevelt College) and I was wondering if I actually LIVE IN ERC as a transfer? If so, do I room with people or how does it work? And how much is the cost of living per month/ year?

When I say cost of living I mean rent of the dorm/apartment.

PS: I do not have any knowledge on UCSD and their college systems.. so people remember to give details. Thnx :)

No, as a transfer you’ll live in the Village no matter what college you are in. You can find a bunch of info on the site/FAQ section:

Here’s the budget UCSD gives for most costs:

Typically the respective college dorms are reserved for freshman/continuing students. Transfer students that choose to live on campus have their own separate housing/community known as the Village.
