So I got a 30 on my first practice test in math, and on the second practice test a 32 in math. I know my weaknesses tend to be the theta/radian graphs and the geometry that shows up in the last 10 questions. EVERY question I miss is always in the last 10. Should I just spend some time relearning the concepts that tend to show up in the last 10 problems by “teaching myself”, or would it be worth the money to buy a prep books aimed towards math - or even purchasing the official “red” book from the ACT? I am really trying to get a 34 in the math section because Math is always bringing down my composite score.
Buy the official ACT book, it raises your score like crazy. Went from 28 to 32 from doing so.
Same here Math is my weak point. How do I learn the content effectively? I know basic knowledge but, lack the extra stuff that most review books glaze over. I got a 31 in math and would like to know how to get it to a 35-36.
went from 29->33 in math. i used princeton review book.
