ohh
hehe thanks for that tip
nevertheless, i've applied to the south harmon institute of technology

Accepted, StuckatUofT!

"Only acceptances are sent out via FedEx. Waitlists and denials are sent out in regular mail."

So does that mean if we haven't received it yet, we're rejected? Ugh.

That's only for internationals.

Oh. Thank God.

ahaha shout harmon institute of technology
thats such a good school!
you can learn to blow stuff up with your mind ^_^

Mathwiz, what do you mean by "that's only for internationals."

are you saying that all internationals have by now received the mails from Caltech if we were accepted???

I mean only international accepts get Fedex. That doesn't mean that all international accepts have already gotten Fedex.

oh
how fast is Fedex? 1 or 2 days?
Cause I thought it was like, 5 days or something on the Fedex website
anywho... guess i'll find out tomorrow if I got in or not

What about the international students living in California?
Do they receive in FedEx also?

nopeee just for the ppl not living in US (who got accepted)

I s'ppose I should post here now... I believe So-Cal received its letters whether they be acceptances or rejections.

I got rejected yesterday ^^ Haha, one less college to have to consider attending, right? ;-)

Anyone think east coast will get letters tomorrow?

I hope so. The Midwest better get them. Typically, it's supposed to take 2 days for it to arrive if they sent it out early mail, according to the people I've talked with. Since it's been 2 days, I'm guessing they sent it out in regular mail and it's taking longer.

I had to go to the post office on March 15th, and, using this opportunity, I asked the officer how long will it take for regular mail to get from LA to NYC. He said about 4 -5 days (excluding Sunday). So... I believe we'll be getting our things in one or two days, whether they are big or a small.
sigh it's going to be tough sitting in school tomorrow...

In December, my son got his EA acceptance in 3 days, and we live in Indiana.

All those with mailing addresses outside the US will recieve a FedEx if they are accpeted. It doesn't matter if you're international or not. At least not here.

if it is FedEx Priority, Tomorrow,
if it is FedEx Economy, Thursday.

Thanx so much LF61

But i got a courier from FED EX yesterday and it was mailed on 15thMarch. This probably eans I am out, but I wont jump to conclusions till i dont get a final decision.

STILL KEEPING MY FINGERS CROSSED

anuishp- as I told you before, the mail you received was from the east coast and caltech is on the west coast- so add a day for that. Besides, Embry Riddle might have sent in using FedEx Priority.
