I just got a FedEx package from Caltech. It is dated March 15.

I'm in; if you want my stats, go on Page 6? of the MIT RD thread.

Good luck to all those waiting!!

congrats oasis!

Thanks, and a correction. My package is dated March 16, not 15. The reference number is, "P512078|ENRL.REC 6.3.3 GP512078^S JUNG^" (I typed in my tracking number and then the tracking page gave me that as the reference number). It's most probably "P512078" only...

The strange thing is that I tried to use track by reference number but it doesn't give me any results....

Received mail today. Nothing from Caltech. They BETTER not've sent it to my house or I won't be able to check it until this weekend. That would absolutely destroy my week.

accepted!!!!!! After being waitlisted by MIT, I was sure I would go to Olin..... but Caltech is a bit tempting.....

Anyone want to make a decisions thread? This one kinda mutated into a "where are the decisions in the mail?" thread. (speaking of which, I'm an east coaster).

Congrats! (10 char)

Mathwiz, I am happy for you getting accepted. Hope that you chose Caltech.

Congrats Mathwiz, and to all accepted! I've been following your posts, and I will be curious to see whether you choose Olin or Cal Tech. At the moment my son is trying to decide between Olin and MIT, no word yet on Cal Tech. $130,000 is a LOT of money.........

No mail today...

Decision: Accepted

Hmmm...

Waitlisted. Not sure whether to be happy or sad.

I was actually hoping for a rejection so I could assure myself that I'd be going to Cornell... and then hoping for an acceptance, since Caltech is awesome... but instead, this. Lol.

Mathwiz
I'm so excited for you. I know how much you love math/sci/engineering, and I'm sure you will be happy at Caltech or Olin. Did you know how FL is one of most popular home areas for people at Caltech? Don't be surprised if you are invited to parties over winter break.

Ismael,
Please send back your postcard circling "accept".Then, update with any new awards and possible an extra recommendation. Don't give up hope.

Congratulations Mathwiz and bookworm!

My D is accepted, but no scholarship. Has anybody received any scholarship information?

Waitlisted. I'm just happy not to get a rejection.

I just got waitlisted. :( All this waiting is driving me crazy.

Congrats...
Still haven't gotten mine yet... live in Tx

can all those who have gotten any decision (accept, reject, waitlist) please post their stats? i know this thread started that way, but it has drifted to a question on mail dates.

i think it will be better if someone accepted starts a fresh decisions thread... 8 pages of waiting is too much on a stats thread!!
