i got in!!!! i think i'm going to go but not 100% sure yet :)
good luck to everyone still waiting

You're so lucky. Congratulations!

Kevster...you gave up on Rochester?

Looks like you're going to BU

University of Rochester : Class of 2012

can anyone access this page or only accepted students?

SHS - Yep, pretty much. I didn't get anything today. Rochester was my reach school anyway.

Yeah I didn't get anything either..

Good luck at BU! I still need to decide :(

"Don't ignore the
deadlines, or we send a
crazy guy after you." - On Rochester's accepted student site.

A bit hypocritical ain't it?

acme, I can view that site and I really dont think I'm going to be accepted

EveryoneCalmDown, thanks for responding. I kind of figured the same.

SHS - what other schools are you considering going to?

I got my acceptance letter on either 18th or 19th, the financial aid letter came on the 28th

Wow, some people got accepted very early (early March - DOES NOT COMPUTE XD). Well, I'm a Canadian-Filipino living in Europe (Austria, for those interested) and am an applicant to U of R. I haven't received a letter yet, neither is my admissions page updated in any way--should I be worried about that? Nonetheless, I am.
Anyone have some info about late letters? Cheers.

got my decision on friday and the finaid came today

im with 88mph- female from northern nj with 2120 sat's and 3.5/3.6 ish gpa with an 8000 scholarship

I haven't gotten anything yet. A bad sign, right?

i'd say if you don't hear anything by thursday or friday to call and make sure that everything's ok

oh, and they dont update your rochester page when you've been admitted

so no need to stress

I just got an email about being wait-listed--I'm not sure if I'll accept. I have two pending notices from UMich and UWash. Can anyone suggest why or why not I should accept being put on the waitlist? Much appreciated.

I got the wait-list thing too. Is it worth it?
How hard is it to get off the waitlist?

Apparently, it is worth it if U of R is TRULY your top pick (or one of such), since a number of accepted applicants usually do not have U of R as their top pick. In other words, their acceptance rate of waitlisted students MAY--I repeat, MAY--be higher than most schools.

Is the waitlist binding?
