@BRUINNursing, did you choose Plaza or hall as your preference? Just curious, if you don’t mind. :]

I chose a hall. I really want a double, but I know I’m most likely getting a triple, which I’m fine with too. What about you? I hope we end up on the same floor! There are so few nursing majors in our class. haha

Yeah, I lived in a plaza my first year. I honestly think it’s what you make out of it; if you are willing to go out and meet new people, you can and should, no matter where you’re living. I made some really awesome friends here, and while my floor might not be the closest, I definitely have a great group of people to hang out with, which is what I was really looking for in the first place, if that makes sense.

I’ve been offered a triple in De Neve Plaza. I’m confused. It doesn’t say if it’s a private bath or shared. How can I know of that?

hey gtfotu, me too! high 5
i think unless they say that the bathroom is shared, it’s not. plus i think de neve only has private baths.
anyone else in de neve next year?

high 5 Yes, you’re right. Someone confirmed to that they have privates only. =D

high 5 to both of ya. I got a triple in De neve as well …

Are you all in-states or OOS/Int’ls?

Deneve!!! Yes!

de neve plaza? is that good?

I liked it (liked what they showed on their website; haven’t experienced personally). Though there’s a construction site very near to it. But I guess, that won’t be much of a problem.

Click on the Deneve Building on this map here ([UCLA Housing Tour - For Students](<a href=“UCLA Housing Tour - For Students”>http://www.uclahousingtour.com/)) for all sorts of info and pics.

haha ya the construction seems to be ok, since they said they’ll try to keep the noise down during busy school times, so it shouldn’t be too bad. Even still i can put some ear phones on and listen to music, or just listen to music rather than construction haha

Which hall do you think is better between Dykstra and Hedrick? reasons?

Can anyone give me a comparison between Hedrick Summit and De Neve? Like, pros and cons for each? I’m considering doing a CAR requesting to change from the former to the latter.

Can anyone send or post a picture of a triple in de neve, please? =p

I want to accept my offer, but I need to pick a meal plan first. What’s the price difference between the 11 and 14 plan? (I’m a really light and irregular eater, and I think 14 will be too many but 11 will be too little!)

*Never mind, I just found it. Sorry about that. here it is, if anyone else is looking for it http://map.ais.ucla.edu/go/1004377

hi so im reading about the meal plans, and i was wondering what they mean by one entry per meal period? Like i know that the premier plans means that thye have a set amount of meals per quarter, so you cna just use what you want wiht them. But how would gold 19 work? Im trying to decide between Gold 19 and 14P because 14P costs more than Gold 19.

(I think) that with Gold 19, you get 19 meals per week, and at the end of the week any unused meals expire. You can also only swipe your card once during a meal period. Meal periods are: 7a-11a, 11a-5p, 5p-10p, 10p-12a, 12a-2a, and this is designed to stop you from swiping in your friend or something, but I’m not sure about that.

With 14P you get 14 meals per week, but you get to save unused meal plans. You can also swipe your card more than once during a meal period.

This is where I got all that info: [Meal Plans (1001859)](http://map.ais.ucla.edu/go/1001859) and http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/uc-transfers/726134-ucla-meal-plans.html

I personally think 14P is a good choice, your unused meal plans can get rolled over.
