Really high school office?!

So I got my schedule for next year and I can't add any classes. My counselor basically said that he couldn't change my schedule around to fit in a computer class. I have to take an art/music class and decided to do it next year so i cant take it out and the other classes are required too. I know that he could fit it in if he tried. Does anyone else hate lazy counselors or unneeded requirements?

stop sippin on that haterade dawg@@

Stop complaining and deal.

Go talk to the head of counseling. At my school it is the vice principal, he gets stuff done real quick haha. I just stopped going to my counselor at all.

^ Well OP’s problem is that he wants to get rid of a district or school requirement which he is required to take next year. He probably could go to a higher authority and complain about his problem, but seeing that he wants to bypass a school requirement nothing will probably change.

I hate that as well, OP. Try going to someone with more authority, like the VP, and appeal your case.

@frantic- thanks for the support…
@other 2- maybe I could talk to someone else but I don’t think it will change. I have to get art/music in order for my diploma. I don’t think I can get out of it. :(

My counselors told me a similar thing. Apparently AP Art History wouldn’t fit into my schedule (neither would AP Bio) so I am forced to take AP Euro online.

I hate my school’s counselors, too … I’m guessing that I didn’t get put into AP Psych because I haven’t received the summer reading info yet, while everyone else got it … that’s a freaking joke. I’m just hoping they didn’t stick me in AP Stat (because I’m self studying that over the summer) or extra P.E. classes (I signed up for the walking class as a random backup).

Don’t worry; I hate art requirements, too.

easiest way is to figure out your schedule yourself
collect info for each class about which periods its offered from friends and solve it like a logic puzzle haha
easiest way to get a schedule fix at my school at least
