5pm PDT is in approximately 2 hours, right?
@lostint Yes, 1 hour and ~45 minutes. The woman I spoke with didn’t give a specific time, she just said “later today.”
Yes. Well, I think that I’ll bury my face in my studies for the next 2 hours.
I hate hearing the word “by” (insert time/date). I just want to know “at”!!!
good luck tonight on Reed, hopefully it doesn’t mean all rejections for us

There’s no such thing as anonymity on College Confidential! I’m sure Reed’s adcoms (not to mention my parents, friends, and teachers) are studying my remarks to make sure that I’m not too much of a failure. Hmm… Better find my tinfoil hat…
I have so much homework that I’ve been putting off because of this email. I can’t bring myself to start before knowing…but I’ll probably be up all night if I don’t start soon. I can wait an hour I think… :-/ :-&
1 hour left. Prepare for imminent depression.
Edit: I’m going to run around my apartment complex 5 times. I’ll be back when decisions are released.
I’ve been so useless waiting for this decision. It’s less anxiety about acceptance or rejection, just the waiting. I have no patience
@rubys I wonder if Reed has ever accepted an applicant that left the Why Reed section blank.
It’s not possible to leave it blank.
You have to enter at least 250 words, I believe.
Though, you could paste some lorem ipsum type text.
I thought Rubys mentioned leaving it blank I must have read wrong, anyway I am sure anything is possible and she can still hope. Would like to know what happens out of curiosity.
Reed has accepted many applicants before that essay was implemented. So the answer is yes.
