first they charge $11.25 to send SAT scores even tho they know dang well it doesn’t cost any money since its all electronic, then they charge $16 for the stupid financial aid profile thing, and now they’re doing this to us :’(

I see myself–frightfully navigating the internet, in a futile attempt to forget the inevitable, horrible truth: that I have been rejected at Reed College. My cellular phone will produce a noise, indicating the arrival of an electronic mail. Suddenly, the power goes out. The darkness of my room is pierced by the recently illuminated phone screen. With a dejected face, I slowly approach the cell phone and unplug it from the charger. I slowly raise it up to my face. I am sweating. I take a big swallow and with shaking hands I unlock my phone with the 3x3 pattern. My phone unlocks and I slowly make my way to the e-mail program. I open it, and before I can see the decision, I faint.

Perhaps the students of Reed College have risen up and installed a temporary Interim Admissions Government, and that is why our decisions are being delayed?
I don’t think anybody likes the SAT, regardless of whether or not you do well, because you don’t really learn any useful skills.
