Hey guys. I am from India. Haven’t yet received any email. I actually emailed them twice, once on 2nd April and then today morning. Still no reply or notification. This seems really weird. I mean even if rejection is on cards, we MUST GET AN EMAIL!!! I am sorry, it’s getting really frustrating. Let’s hope we hear something soon.
I am sorry to say this, but there seems to be a huge lack of professionalism, which is astonishing given the caliber of the school. I am happy to wait for a decision, but they should’ve at least let us know the exact date on which they will let us know. I feel that with colleges competing against each other to enrol the best students around the globe, this lack of professionalism will hurt Reed in the long run.
@Anarcho-Communist I don’t think you should expect them to reply during the weekend.
Well, that’s a fair point, although I considered the fact that they were still in the process of sending decisions as late as yesterday. So, I was hoping that they may reply. Anyways, I hope they reach out soon.
Reed notifies students between April 1 and the 7 generally. Also, tbh, this is nothing compared to the actions of some of the UCs for this academic year
@khanam It depends on what time it’s made versus when the package is scanned. Also, on location. I contacted them (FedEx) and that is what they told me. A number of things, such as your Delivery Manager account, might not go through in time.
If some students hear as late as the 7th, why not schedule the accepted students visit day later in the month? As it is, it allows so little time to plan a trip that is non-trivial for most.
Has anyone who could not see an incoming package on the fed ex site received one? Has anyone received the thin envelope rejection letter via USPS yet? Waiting is brutal.
@hiker2013 I will check when I get home and update ya. If a FedEx package were to come for me it would arrive today.
I just got my package this morning! I live in WA
And sorry, I didn’t check the FedEx site, so I can’t say anything to that.
@wonderlanddd Did you package show up on the Fedex insight thing?
@jackisawesome Idk, does Reed receive as many applications as the UCs do? I’d expect Reed to have a smaller admissions department, but still…
@marhabaaa The reed package never showed up on the FedEx insight thing for us. It was Fedex delivery Manager which it seems is not the same thing. Our insight still shows nothing, but the delivery manager shows a package addressed to my son due to come in tomorrow. We are in So Cal.

@marhabaaa I didn’t check, sorry I decided I just wanted to wait and find out, not stress over package tracking.
Hi, did the admissions office get back to any international student about their decision emails? I still haven’t got mine and admissions hasn’t replied to my emails either.
More (kind of new) information, directly from my friend at Reed (she has a friend in admissions):
“The packages were sent either Friday or Saturday, so it might show up at a certain time depending on which day it was sent.” I asked if it was alphabetical and she said she thought it was. Just by the way!
@DVDplayer Nah I was referring to the alleged “cruelly” associated with the notification process. I mean the waiting is tough (no doubt about it), but… some of the UCs this year were insane with how they treated certain pools of applicants
TBH though y’all have me so worried now! xD I can’t seem to find any package in any of the tracking options
WAIT!!! SO I ADVISE ALL OF YOU TO DO THIS: SET NOTIFICATIONS FOR THE DELIVERY! I couldn’t see anything, but I decided to set notifications just in case. AND I JUST GOT AN EMAIL SAYING THAT REED COLLEGE WAS DELIVERING A PACKAGE TO ME TOMORROW (I LIVE OUTSIDE LA) BY THE END OF THE DAY!!!
@jackisawesome HOW!? SEND US A LINK!
