I registered FedEx Delivery Manager, InSight, it didn’t show my stuff, etc. etc. You’ve all heard that before. But the reference thing? Fullproof. Here’s the link:

SAT I: 2100 superscored (700CR, 660M, 590W first time, 600CR, 740M, 660W second time after LOTS of studying for writing and math)
ACT: 31 (35E, 29M, 32R, 27S, oops)
SAT II: Mathematics Level I - 730 Biology E - 640 Literature - 650 Mathematics Level II - 590 (I took that in a town five hours from mine during the middle of a District’s One Acts performance…it was rough lol)
GPA: 3.660, 3.699 after midyear reports (4.0 weighted, but I’m not sure if my transcripts include the weighted GPA or not)
AP: No scores sent
IB: n/a
I took the most rigorous course load available at my school, as well as online AP classes (AP Government, AP Calc BC, AP MacroE). My teachers loved me, my essays were good (I talked about cooking for Paideia essay, and our expectations of ourselves and how we react when we don’t achieve them for my additional info), and I’m from the Midwest which is underrepresented @Reed.
No box yet, but got an acceptance email yesterday ( not international) Good luck to those still waiting!
Waitlisted (argh!)
SAT II: Bio E: 780, Chem: 730 Math 2: 690 (yeah I just fell apart on this test, pretty embarrassed)
4.0 UW GPA (if weighted I think I’m valedictorian, but school doesn’t weight GPA).
33 ACT (34 superscore, but not sure if Reed does that)
Play 3 instruments for fun, take lessons for two of them, and am in 2 orchestras.
Ran cross country but was just average (had a lot of fun though!)
Am in NHS, do tutoring and service projects.
General community service, tutoring, etc.
Didn’t send AP scores, but I got a 5 on AP Lang. School doesn’t offer many APs, but I signed up for all. Counselor botched my schedule and couldn’t get Into AP Bio or Psych which made me really mad… In any case, I signed up for the hardest classes I could, always. Am from Midwest. I wrote about organizing students into a sort of guitar ensemble for Paideia and then playing some simple songs (thought that would be awesome).
Did think I would be accepted and it’s disappointing not to be, but I do have some good offers already so I’m not too broken up.
Best of luck guys!

Fedex thing didn’t work for me
None of the FedEx things worked but kid got his box today.
@Dylrus2 @porcupine98 what state are you guys in? And congratulations!!
@sherruby thanks, I’m in tennessee, I didn’t get a box yet I just got an email. Still in school so I’ll check for the box when I get home
@Dylrus2 do you know if they are sending out decision emails to all domestic students today?
@Sherruby My guess would be they send them after they receive notification the package was delivered. I could be wrong, but like I mentioned earlier admissions told me they would be shocked if it didn’t come today.
ACCEPTED in Iowa
I was notified via email-- haven’t received my box yet, it will probably come in a few hours?
Congratulations to everyone who is accepted. For those who are waitlisted or denied, I am sure you have other options where you’ll thrive. Are the accepted folks planning to attend Reed Admit Day?
hey, ppl who got waitlisted - are you accepting your place and if so, what supplemental information are you guys sending? i want to send a recommendation one of my volunteer supervisors wrote for me but it’d be weird if i sent it attached to the email to admissions.
Reed, Carleton and Haverford. What do I pick?
How badly do you want to fence? If so, Haverford?
@sherruby I’d assume so considering there could be complications with mailing. I feel the mailing is more of a display.
No FedEx, email, or regular mail here. This is really frustrating.
Accepted! For some reason I got an email even though I’m not international? I’ll have to call them tomorrow and ask why. I’ve been out of town but my neighbors say that there was only a big paper file but no boxes of any sort. Is it a legit box or more of a package? Very confused but oh well.
