<li><p>if I have not received any notice about regents, then it's pretty much given that I was not selected?</p></li>
<li><p>if someone called my house encouraging me to apply for the alumni scholarship, what does that indicate about my acceptance status (sure thing? strong? almost nothing?)</p></li>

<p>um regent scholarships, from what i heard comes out first week of februrary. today is friday so i guess technically we have one day until we can pretty much say its over</p>
<p>about the phone call though... im curious about that cuz this chick just called me too telling me to apply for the alumni scholarship</p>
<p>I'd say regents is pretty much over by now...if you don't receive it by tomorrow. And as for the phone call, I know a lot of people have received emails/postcards encouraging them to apply for alumni scholarships. Though it doesn't really guarantee admission like regents partly does, it's an indication that you're within their considered pool of applicants.</p>
