regents scholarship?

Is this mostly for only instate California applicants? I applied out of state and would consider myself in the upper tier of OOS applicants but did not receive anything about this scholarship. Just wondering lol

I also applied to Berkeley fyi and didn't receive anything from them either.

Regents' at UCLA is the top 1.5%, and at Berkeley it's the top 2%. Getting it as an in-stater is extremely difficult; as an OOSer, even more difficult. If you didn't get it, don't worry -- selection for it is very odd, and you'll probably end up with comparable aid, anyway. The perks of the scholarship aren't terribly great, either.

kyledavid, what exactly does this scholarship entail? From reading on their site, they made it seem like a huge deal..

The scholarship is something like $5500 and any additional financial need is covered, for four years. There are lots of perks, like a network, guaranteed housing, priority registration, parking privileges, etc. Regents at UCLA, as at other UC campuses, is the most prestigious scholarship (and probably the hardest one to get).
