Same with me i have a 3.8-3.9, but had a mix up of majors at UCLA got rejected. for UCLA the major that got accidentally swapped i had missing 2 pre reqs. For berkeley i have none missing. Still have a shot for berkeley? i’m reallly upset right now ;(

yes, same with me. I have all my prereqs done but still rejected and some on here are missing MORE THAN ONE prereq for ucla and still got accepted. smh. my gpa was just too low.oh well I guess i’ll have to settle for Santa cruz’s amazing campus and weather and award winning dining halls then. :P

i don’t really think any of it is an exact science. i’ve been rejected by ucla (different major than the rest), ucsb, ucsc and accepted to ucsd, and uc davis. smh seriously…

I had all my prereqs finished for ucla, I am missing one for ucb.
I have completed igetc, and I think my gpa is decent… I’m thinking that maybe my two ten year old Fs looked pretty bad, but one was a one unit gym class and the other a photo lab.

I dont know… Just not feeling at all hopeful. Guess it will be Csun or osu online for me.

You’ll see in many previous years that the schools do not really reflect eachother in admissions. Many people who get denied LA get into Berkeley and many people who get denied Berkeley get into LA. Don’t lose hope!

I was rejected from ucla. 3.82; Tap certified; Math major (Math AA-T); musician; volunteer; strong essays… super bummed. Berkeley is my #1 but feel like that’s unlikely. Accepted to UCSD, UCD, UCSB.

This is so discouraging, I only applied to UCB and UCLA as a transfer student, I have a perfect 4.0 GPA from community college. I meet all the requirement for both UCLA and UCB as a math major and I have been taking all the hard courses. I was in both AGS and PTK honor societies and has quite a bit of volunteer hours. My personal statement also looks pretty strong. I have no idea why I got rejected. I just hope the rumor is true now. My only hope left is to be accepted to UCB which I guess i will have to wait until 27th to find out. I am getting so frustrated right now. Anyone has a similar situation?

nevermind, i was being dumb, i didn’t meet UCLA’s major requirement, because i only wanted to go to UCB, and i applied UCLA just for the heck of it so I didn’t bother to check the UCLA’s math major requirement, ignore my last post lol.

i hear ya… i did the same thing except im not a math major and my gpa isn’t a 4.0 but basically berkeley is my dream school so yeah i’m riddled with anxiety at present.
