bittersweet-mi casa et su casa? is that how you spell it? lol o i got the new rez double. btw i'm in toronto this week down at yonge and eglinton until next thursday.

anyhoo ya I was really excited. as soon as the woman said i got new rez, i just screamed in the phone and i didn't even hear what lottery number i was and the lady was just like omg....freak....

crazychai- did that mean my home is your home? I don't know any spanish, but I hope that's what it meant =P! We should meet up some time if you're in Toronto until next Thursday. I don't work Tuesdays and Wednesdays, so if you're up for something or aren't afraid that I'm some freak, maybe we can do something? I can't wait to call in on Monday and find out what I got!

bittersweet-ya my house is your house...that's the only spanish i know. tuesday is better for me because wednesday i have to pack and everything to get ready for thursday departure and blah. hope we can meet up that day. lol hopefully ur not a freak...anyway hope you get new rez!

I just called and found out I got a New Rez double, my first choice! I think I heard that we don't find out who are roommates are until we get there; is that true? Anyways, I'm so excited for August 24th!

I got placed in RVC...my 9th choice :S I was sort of letdown at first, but I'm beginning to look at the positives. It's not the end of the world!

I was somewhere about halfway through, 1100ish or something, and I got my second choice, New Rez double (new rez single was my first) Woot woot!
psyched I am.

Just called up to find that I was somewhere in the 1900s and haven't been placed yet! Good times...anyway, though, the lady said that it will work out to my advantage because they hand-place all the really high lottery numbers based on cancellations in the other residences and I would have a better chance of getting into my top choice than, say, people in the 1800s. Sounds nice in theory but I'll check back in a week and see if it really worked out. If not, I suppose I'll be apartment hunting this summer.

Single room in Solin, which was actually my first choice :D [I'm vegetarian and love to cook for myself. Of course, we'll see how long that lasts once I have to do it for every meal!] I have no idea what my lotto number was, but I guess it doesn't REALLY matter since Solin's usually not in such high demand.

mini fridges in all the rooms if i remember correctly (douglas is kinda fuzzy to me now that the year's over). well, except solin and more etc but that's cause they have common kitchens with real fridges.

guess I'm a lot luckier than I thought. I was number 545 and got my first choice- New double!! I'm so excited! I was at work on break when I called and when I found out I was jumping around and screaming all over the place. People must've thought I had gone crazy. When they first told me I was number 545 I was somehow thinking 5045 because I didn't think I would get a very good number, but then realized that there aren't 5000 numbers. I'm soo happy though!

So you know what's really weird? We've all been here flipping out about McGill together, and in less than two months we are all going to be living together at McGill... Julesi, Bittersweet, Crazychai... we'll all be in New Rez doubles. This is so exciting! ahhhhhh.
