My college counselor makes us all write really nice resumes, and I'm really proud of mine, and she's really experienced (10 years in admissions, 20 years in counseling -- and two people from my school got admitted ED to CC last year). But does CC really hate it when you attach it? I want to put it on, cause it covers more about me than the app, and I have explanations of some of the clubs/activities they might not recognize. Thoughts?

From CU's online app ("interests" page):

Limiting yourself to the space provided, please list (in descending order of importance to you) the activities to which you have given your time WITHIN your school setting. Please refrain from submitting additional information.

Thanks for repeating what I read for myself. XD

I feel like it would, but find out what the 2 kids that got accepted did and go from there.

I had an entire book that I sent in with my application (I'm a giant tool, though), and I got accepted--another page isn't a big deal. the worst that can happen is they won't look at it. They can't punish you for trying.

my parent hired a consultant since I'm appling to pretty high caliber schools, and his thing is "overapplying."

As in sending a couple extra essays, like 5 recommendations, a resume like yours, and so on.

While they tell you not to send extra stuff, if it's good and helps illuminate your character more, they'll read it and hopefully it will help you get in.

thanks guys. that's good to hear. ^____^ I've sent mine in now -- it's up the fate!
