Retake SAT in October?

So I have a 2220 score (M: 760 R: 700 W: 760). It was my only test but I prepped a ridiculous amount for it (went up from a 173 PSAT)... I recently got back my SATII scores and they were pretty good: Math II 800, US History 780, Physics 780.

Question is, should I try to retake the SAT? I really don't want to spend too much time prepping again and my score's better than the ones I got from all my practice tests beforehand. Any chance my good SAT II scores can like "overshadow" the avg sat score if I'm aiming for colleges like CMU (CS), UPenn Wharton, Stanford, etc.

No. 2220 is an awesome score especially for a single test. SATII’s are great too. Relax and enjoy your accomplishments and work on your applications.

Agreed retest is a waste of time.

Thanks for the answers. Looks like you guys share my own opinion. I have a question though, will colleges see that I only took this test once and acknowledge it as a good thing? How will they even know? Can I mention that on the common app?

You said you were thoroughly prepared for the SAT and the score is actually higher than your practice. Then, I see no reason to retake it as you may get a small increase but also possible to get a lower score. You have a good balance of section scores and 2220 composite in single sitting is very good.

@billcsho Thanks

But can someone answer my question in the previous post?
