Retaking Sat II

How bad will it look if I retake an SAT II? Especially the Math Level 2? Would it look better if I cancel, and then retake, or keep it and still retake? The score is around 700-730, but this is Math Level 2, where 800's are the norm, and the standard deviation is like 10pts. So yeah, opinions? advice?

if you think you can get a lot better next time around without needing to spend TOO much time on it, it might worth you retaking.
IMO don't cancel your score. see what you get (when i took mine, i didn't think i did well, but i still got a good score) and then decide what if you want to retake or not. having at least one score as back up is good just in case you didn't do well the second time.

Yea that sounds good, but I'm sure I can do better, it was a stupid mistake kinda thing for me, and poor time management, not lack of preparation or anything.

MIT will only look at your best score. I wouldn't take an SATII six times because of that information or anything, but if you need to retake a test, it's not going to have an impact.

800s are the best because they're so pretty! All those circles... go for iittt!
