Ask on behalf of all of us waiting… If you could. If not I’ll ask as well. Let us know what they say

Let’s discuss the state of our apps tomorrow. If no luck then I will call on behalf of all of us.

Any news?

Absolutely nothing.

nothing here. getting really frustrated.

Nothing… I’d prefer if my decision were still “awaiting review” or whatever. Reviewed Decision pending gives us absolutely no clue where they are in the process of making a decision.

I called at 3 asking what time they thought the decision would be released for North American applicants and the woman on the other line basically said that they were trying to finish them all up today but decisions can be released through May so no real news.

Hi- I’m in the same boat as all of you…super stressful. I was hoping for March 26 but haven’t heard anything.

@wolfman123

It’s through May for all of North America, today is the “estimated” last day for US high school students admission decisions to come out (according to the website.

Wolf man could you explain the phone call a little more? Part of that sounds promising. We should definitely all call and ask when we might hear.

I called earlier, they weren’t picking up their phones.

Sure, basically I asked at what time the results were expected to be released and that was the answer she gave, although to be honest she also sounded like she had no clue.

Anybody call yet?

Called today, woman said that “If it says decision pending it shouldn’t be much longer at all”. She wouldn’t give a notification date.

Hopefully she’s telling the truth. I’ve had that status for 6 weeks now though.

So I just got off the phone with the Arts admisison people. My status has been reviewed-decision pending for over 2 months and I didn’t hear anything yesterday either. The woman said that since I have that status then I should know within the next two weeks/till the end of may but that they review applications only until spots are filled and that could be at any time. But for those of us with that status she said that it was a fairly positive sign that we haven’t been denied yet…good luck guys!

Still “pending” means you may hear in a day, a week or a month. Its a waiting list, really. They are waiting to see if they can fill their entering class with stronger candidates. Mcgill is less than honest about it all and it sucks to be in limbo but that’s just the way it is.

In addition to Windy1’s point, many American schools (especially ivies) are giving out decisions today and in the coming days, so there are many strong McGill applicants who will ultimately turn down their McGill offers and free up space. We’re almost all in the same boat here. Hang in there

I also called and received a similar response. I really hope I hear before the end of the week. I’m pretty disappointed by Service Point, I feel more like a Walmart customer than a prospective student.

I called and they just said I will hear soon because there are people who haven’t even been reviewed. Someone on reddit said they didn’t hear until the first week of June. God almighty. I’m not even religious.
