McGill is my top choice as well. If we don’t hear by the 26th I’m not sure what I’ll do.

I got all my docs in on February 14th, the day my semester grades were available. Good luck. I really just can’t wait any longer.

Yeah I got mine in on the 10th so we’re in the same boat here. Good luck to you too. This really blows.

I’m in the same boat as you guys, this is getting my family super stressed out. Especially because my dad is an alumnus and it would kill him if I didn’t get in.

What are your stats and which faculty? I’ve heard varying theories on how they order these decisions.

Stats

GPA:3.5

SAT I:
Reading - 780
Writing - 670
Math - 550

SAT II:
US History - 690
Literature - 670

AP: Art History, Human Geography, Government, European History
I’m applying to Faculty of Arts

Also, my school frequently faces your old school in almost every sporting event lol

Dear god what a small world. I’m guessing Bullis, St. Albans, St. Andrew’s, GDS, Heights, Mater Dei… Did I get it?
Anyway you definitely have a chance. Maybe a tad borderline but nothing to lose hope over. What do you think of my chances? If only my public school transcript said something other than “non-MCPS school” for my Sidwell years…

Lets just say that a good bunch of my class are matriculating to good ol’ Gtown
I think you have nothing to worry about mate. Your stats are definitely within range for arts and I think on the border for management. Don’t freak out though, remember us Americans pay a significant amount more than the Canadians and I think Mcgill is going to try and get as much income as possible since the budget cuts.

Oh wow you do have a point there. Though French Canadians are very patriotic and will probably retain some bias they have in favor of other Quebecois…

I should note, I spoke with a friend of mine who has shared this status with me for nearly as long as I’ve had it. She was rejected yesterday. Oddly enough this was not posted on her minerva account or sent in a pdf attached to an email as McGill claims decisions will be delivered, but was simply in the text of the email. Hopefully some of us get better news.

Would you know said friend’s stats and faculty are?

I forgot how to grammar.

Anyone hear anything today?

nope, nothing. praying for tomorrow

What faculty is everyone waiting on? McGill registrar twitter said that decisions would be released up until may. Means absolutely nothing…

Arts and management. This really sucks.

waiting for faculty of engineering and faculty of sciences

Wait I just looked at the twitter post and it does say up until May, but then it included a link to the page that says that US high schools are until March 26, but international schools outside of the US can be through May. This is so confusing.

I’m waiting on arts and sciences. I say we all email Thursday if we don’t get decisions and ask when we can expect to hear. Reviewed-decision pending is the most unhelpful status because It means absolutely nothing in terms of where they are as far as making decisions.

Yeah. I’m really annoyed with them right now but I refuse to lose faith in the school. I’ve wanted to go there for so long… If I don’t hear back tomorrow I’m calling Service Point.
