I called the admissions office and a lady working there told me that my application was reviewed but no decision has been made yet and also she said due to increased number of applications, she doesn't know when the next decision will be made
I applied in early november but I neither got deffered nor got a letter requesting my mid year grade

Is this bad or good?
I mean, they could just deffer me if they were not so sure about me
I thought I would have gotten deffered becuase of my low sat scores but average umich gpa,,, but not straight rejection
but I'm kinda worried now,,

ever02, I'm in the same boat as you. I submitted my applicant in November but everything was received by December 13th. Unfortunately, I got no news about any type of decision or deferral (and no request for mid-year grades). I'm most likely going to call them later this week if I don't hear anything.

I'm in the same boat as you. I didn't call, but I received a letter saying that my app was reviewed and that I was a "delayed applicant." They never said anything about deferral or sending in midyear grades.

what does it mean by "delayed applicant" exactly?
does it mean that applicants are too good to be deffered and not too good to get accepted at once?
