<p>For those accepted who applied for financial aid: did you all get another email saying that your financial aid package was not ‘finalized’ and that documents were missing? I’m assuming they mean the IDOC and FAFSA, because I got everything else in, but aren’t they to be completed next year? I suppose that it’s not finalized because what we got is just an estimate, but I’m not completely sure.</p>
<p>Deferred… I’m confused what I have to do now… How do I get accepted in Regular Decision? What should I do to increase my chances?</p>

<p>Accepted! But the financial aid is so painfully low… I might have to turn Rice down. My parents can’t pay $40,000 a year.</p>
<p>Hey everyone! I’m a prospective student for regular decision and I really want to go to Rice. If it had an Early II decision I would definitely apply for that…(essentially regardless of all the other schools I’m applying to, if I get into Rice reg decision I’d definitely go).</p>
<p>However, my SAT scores are at the 25% of the class of 2016 stats. That worries me a bit. I got a 2110 by score choice. I know that SAT scores aren’t everything (of course) and that it’s a holistic process…however scores still do matter haha.</p>
<p>Can anyone who got accepted tell me their stats/hooks/extracurriculars for me to compare?</p>
<p>I was admitted as well, but with no financial aid at all…As happy as I am, I feel upset about the financial burden my family is about to incur. $52,400? I can’t even wrap my head around that sum :(</p>
<p>@tracked89. This was early decision. I don’t think you can turn them down. Even for finances, it is very complicated and highly unlikely.</p>
