For freshman CAS student, any opinions on living in Rich Hall v Warren Towers … Possible to switch?

I’m not sure if you can yet but you can apply for room swap once you get there. I lived in Rich Hall as a student in SAR my first year. West has a more community type feel to it and I would say the floors are more social. The rooms in Warren are a little bit smaller and aren’t as nice but it doesn’t have as much of a bro scene.

I lived in both. In my experience, Warren is a better place to make friends with people on your floor. Biggest difference beyond that is long walk to CAS (from Rich) or a long walk to FitRec/GAP (from Warren).

Thank you. One more thing: As an incoming freshman, pros and cons to having a sophomore roommate?

Pros: They will be used to living with someone else so might be easier to live with, they will be a better resource if you have a question about anything.

Cons: They will have their own friends so they might not include you if you are wanting that, they might not be as interested in trying new things, going places, etc.

is it possible to trade Towers for Warren?

You can fill out a room swap request.
