Well, so much for that! NOTHING updated, applied ILR.

my CALS decision wasn't up either... i wish cornell simply released something about the status of their adcom instead of leaving it to rumour

btw, have any rejections been put online yet?

today isn't a good day anyway... "beware the ides of march"

ya, i didnt get anything today either :(

Hi guys! It looks like this year is following the same pattern that has occured for the past few years (d is Jr. in ILR and Heaven help me- I've been around for 3 Admission cycles)

I have stated several times on different postings, that only a handful of kids will get a decision during this "rolling period" 2/15-3/15 (approx). AND the VAST MAJORITY of you will not hear anything until 3/29.

Trust me, the past few years has shown that MANY MANY cc kids get their acceptance from Cornell (rolling schools) on the last day of the cycle 3/29.
Try to relax- take a deep breathe.
Good luck to ALL.

The 29th seems so far away! I don't think I can wait that long. As it is I check everyday to see if I got in!

is it still rolling until the 29th? or are they just all coming out on the 29th?

GRATS GUYS!

I think the rolling has stopped and all teh rest will be released on the 29th.

maybe the rejection letters wil be released now... no?

I just checked my mailbox and GOT INTO ILR TODAY!!!! i was deferred ed and i am so freaking excited. my acceptance hasn't even shown up online.
stats:
620 V, 760M, 700W
sat II 630 M, 690 US history
GPA: 3.9
double legacy
cum laude society
competitive nj private school

this shows that you don't need amazing sat scores to get into cornell

go big red!!!!

^^^double legacy sure helps though...

I agree!!!

wow i never knew that the decisions for CALS, ILR and hotel are rolling.
Well..Congrats to everyone who got accepted.
njsoccer03: i totally agree with you that you don't need amazing grades to get into cornell. i got into engineering with lower sat scores and GPA, unimpressive extracurricular, and no legacy.

buuuuuuuuuuuuuuump

this thread is probably gonna die out now that rolling decisions are over

Ya. It's sad. Sorry for being repetitive, but does anyone know if CALS send out likely letters? They probably not, since I haven't heard anyone from CALS getting one. AHHHH. 10 days.

I don't see anybody talking about animal science.. Did anyone get letter from CALS animal science??

i got into CALS animal science.

Decision: ACCEPTED
