OK so I didn’t really put that much effort into studying for this test as I was wrapped up in college things, and only took a practice test for Chem and US history, so I probe got like below 500 on this test
so if I left 2 blank, how many can I get wrong to still have 800?
@standfordplz I think it was Feb and August?
@chubii yep.
@Tlin1009 4 max.
lol I think I will get 700-730 then…
@foliagee even I got 10, it was answer C right???
What was the answer to the question that asked which of the following is parallel to the line y=2x+something… Was it(a) or (b) ???
I know its stupid but idk why i got confused in it.
@Cadaver i dont know if it was a or b but the line had the same slope
Hi!
I’m taking math level 2 next month. Out of curiosity, if you guys compare the test you took yesterday with the practice tests on Barrons, what was easier? I really want to get 800 but never score more than 760 on Barrons
@Cadaver it was A
@inshm2016 this test was easier than Barron’s
@inshm2016 I honestly didn’t find the Barron’s book very helpful - most of the concepts on the barron’s didn’t show up on the actual test. When I did barron’s I usually didn’t get to the last 5 questions within an hour, but on the real test I finished with 20 minutes to spare. Just know your pre-calc. Being familiar with functions and algebra was honestly what I found to be the most helpful so a review of grade 11 math is really all you need.
@inshm2016 I think barron’s has more graphing stuff, so it takes longer.
How many zeroes did that y^5 function have
I got it down to 2x=x^2, X cancels out leaving X=2, so one zero, but why is everyone saying it has two zeroes.
I remember putting down 1 zero as well for one of the questions
Ohhh well X can also equal zero, it should be 2 zeroes
when it doubt, graph it out, it crosses the x axis twice therefore 2 zeroes
