did you guys get sec(x) for one of your answers the one asking sin(2x), and to get it symplified to 2sin(x)
I prepped with Barrons but i dont think the actual test was what Barron’s taught me. I had heard that Barrons overpreps you but I didnt feel like that during the test. Just my opinion.
Hey guys, what was the matrix question even asking? Also for the question where it was like f(x)=abs(f(x)) is it x^2?
I got x^2 for the second question and no idea for matrix lol… D:
Also, for the sin2x question and the secx question, what was the original question asking?
@basedchem I don’t remember exactly but I remember brute forcing it and getting sec(x), I’m 99% sure that’s the answer
did u guys get something like sin (or could be cos cant remember) (pi/2 - theta) for one question?
thought it was pi - theta
Yea people talked about it earlier it was pi - theta
guys what do you think 40/50 will be? Possibly a 780 still?
btw guys we had the exact same test as May 2013 http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/sat-subject-tests-preparation/1501025-may-2013-mathematics-level-2-p3.html
That’s useful thanks for posting
wait that’s so cool! thanks
So for the next test are they going to reuse the June 2013 test? goes and memorizes every answer from June 2013 thread
@jaimk123 You get -2x = x^2 by plugging 0 into y. You can’t divide by x because x could be 0 (and in this case, it actually is). Add 2x to both sides to get x^2 + 2x + 0 = 0. (x+2)(x-0) = 0. Thus, two solutions.
(i got this one wrong, but now understand it)
@Collegewhat I actually just checked March 2013 math 2 test thread and the october 2015 math 2 test thread and they are unfortunately not the same haha…
Does anybody know what the second to last question was?
@collegeguy123456 I got “A”. Anyone else got the same?
I think i omitted it, but what was the question asking?
I don’t remember the question… is this for core?
