SAT II and AP

is taking SAT II subject tests better, or is taking AP tests better??

umm..i'd say both are good. if you want college credit, take the AP. there is no "one is better than the other." some schools require SAT II's though, so for those you'd want to make sure you took them. Achang..you silly rabbit.

You can't compare the two because they are entirely different. AP exams are used to gain college credit while still in high school. So, for example, if you take AP Macroeconomics, and do well on the exam, you might be allowed to skip an introductory macroeconomics college course. SAT subject tests, however, gauge your level of proficiency in a wide variety of subjects. The SAT IIs only test you on what you learned, or should have learned, in high school. Many colleges require their applicants to have taken at least 1 or 2 SAT subject tests.
