I'm wishing to take the World History subject test as one of my 3 SAT II tests. I don't plan self-study but not sure where to start. I've gotten two Barron's World History books that covers a Medieval Times to the World Wars. Any book suggestions and advice for those we are/have studied for the WH. Thanks!!

Yeah, I’m also asking the same. Though I thought you needed only two SAT II’s… where have I been???

Though I hear this book called AMSO is decent length, understandable, and pretty good. For last minute ‘cramming’ the Sparknotes one is pretty good (although I could be mistaken for USH SAT II’s).

AMSCO is for US history

Yeah, I had a feeling…

I got PR and got a 780. I did have an AP world class, but the outline in PR is pretty good.

I got 780, too, through tcwest2012’s method. However, I have a strong distaste for APWH PR because of how the author wrote it and I felt it barely helped me. However, if you have taken APWH, PR would serve as a quick review for the subject test.

I would have probably done poorly if not for PR, just because I needed the outline on ancient history.
