sat II's

mehhhhh how important are sat II's?? I did really bad 620 us history 510 literature :x

I'd say take them again.
I had a 690 bio and 720 math 2 c. my english lit was in the 500's eek, but it was the one that didn't count since they look at two.

hmm yea I dunno though because I really dont have any other time that I can take them. I taking the regular SATs this june and in october, and any other time would be too late right?

And is it true you can use ACTs in place of SAT IIs ??

On the Wesleyan site it says, "Wesleyan requires the new SAT I and two SAT II tests(or old SAT I and three SAT II tests; Writing Test required) or the ACT."

So the ACT can take the place of the SAT I and SAT II's.

That won't prevent you from being admitted; however, it's also really not going to help you, either. Wesleyan takes a very holistic look at your application, so one bad test score isn't that important, since there's going to be at least two people who read your application cover to cover and thus "get to know" you... read The Gatekeepers for an interesting inside look at the Wesleyan admissions process!

Word to that!
