SAT retake necessary?

<p>I have a 2110 on my SAT (800 Math,630 CR, 680 Writing).Currently, I can get 2200 (800 Math, 700 CR, 700 Writing) on practice tests. </p>

<p>If I am applying to schools like MIT and Caltech for computer science, is it worth it to retake the SAT? (I have already signed up for the november test, so I won't have time to improve my scores) </p>

<p>On a side note, I have good extracirriculars (shows passion for computer science) and strong essays. Thanks.</p>

<p>If you think that the score you got is not representative of your abilities, go for it. There is no downside.</p>
