Would a 2270, 720 cr 800 math 750 writing, be good enough for most schools like ivy leagues, stanford, etc? I know my scores fall into their ranges, but I've always heard that you need a 2300+. To me, it really seems like a waste of time to study more to get a higher score that I might not even achieve. (Btw, I got this in my sophmore year, don't know if that affects anything)

No, that score is fine, I don’t think any of them really judge your scores once you are over 2200

There is no sense in studying and taking it again

That is a nice and balanced score in SAT for any school. If you are satisfied with it, then don’t waste your time in retaking. But if you believe you can get a better score and you have time with nothing better to do, then you may try to bring up the score mainly for merit aid purpose.
