Sat?

I have been here in the USA for about 6-7 years but i am on AOS-Adjustment of Status. This makes me an international student when i apply to college. I already took the SAT but do they require it from me or am i suppose to take some other type of test?

One of the colleges i was going to apply is SJSU and they say:

The TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language) or the ELPT (English Language Proficiency Test) is required of all applicants with fewer than three years of full-time study where English is the primary language of instruction.

<a href="http://www.sjsu.edu/depts/ipss/prearrival/apply.htm%5B/url%5D">http://www.sjsu.edu/depts/ipss/prearrival/apply.htm</a></p>

So where does this put me? Do i have to take it? Am i not required to take it? Does this mean it is needed to take the SAT?

You don't have to take the TOEFL because you have been in the US for more than 3 years (assuming you went to American schools and not a foreign school that teaches in a language other than English).
