If i want to apply for transer next year as a sophomore in college, should I (not even sure if it is possible?) to retake SAT II's because my grades from high school are subpar?

It depends if the college will take them. Some times (at NYU for instance)they say don't bother retaking them because they are meant to show your ability to perform in college. Ff you already have college grades, there is not as heavy a consideration on SATs or SAT IIs. That said, it probably couldnt hurt. THAT said, make sure it doesn't suck time away from your studies to keep college grades up. The college transcript is THE most important component in the process, so anything that jeopardizes your college transcript, stay clear.

It is possible for some schools and not for others. I agree with lanjt, with the amendment that some schools still really look at the SATs (I and II) and if yours are not well in line with what they expect, it might help to re-take. Sad but true.
