Does anyone else have to have their schedule approved by a counselor before they're allowed to sign up for classes?

you never need permission from a counselor, adviser, dean, anyone.*

*except when you're overriding a prerequisite

Are you a transfer student? I am a transfer student and it looks like all the colleges (except Thurgood Marshall?) require approval before we can sign up for classes.

I am a transfer at sixth. Okay this makes sense now. Thank you! I feel the cosmic balance now.

You guys can sign up for classes already? Bummer I need to wait until the end of the month.

Is it even possible to skip classes? Pre req? I really want to go to math 20B but I think I have to stay with 20A but I think I can handle 20B since I have been studying over the summer. Does anyone know if its possible?

math placement test?

I think all the transfer students have to wait until the end of the month, it's just that some of us were wondering why there is a hold on our enrollment.

edit: and if it is normal to need counselor approval before enrolling in our classes.
