Schedule questions

I'm trying to decide between two schedules and need some advice. These are the schedules:

MMW1 (Making of the Modern World 1)
POLI11 (Intro to Polisci- Comparative Politics)
MAE5 (Quantitative Computer Skills)
SIO15 (Natural Disasters)

and

MMW1
MAE5
MUS4 (Intro to Western Music)
SIO15

Is the second schedule too easy? Or will the first be too hard? As a polisci major, if I try to get all my GEs out of the way first before taking lower div polisci classes (like in my second schedule), will I fall behind?

In the event that I go with my first schedule, and manage to get Carter for MMW (which is not terribly likely, since I have a Sept 2nd enrollment time) I'd only have 10 minutes to get from POLI11 (which is at PETER 108) to the MMW lecture (which is in PRICE). I'd also only have 10 minutes to get from the MAE5 lecture (in CSB) to the MAE5 lab (in the EBU2). If I get Jordan, I'd have 10 minutes to get from SOLIS to PETER, for the SIO15 lecture.. Is that enough time? What if I'm using a bike? Sorry, I'm terrible with estimating transport time from maps. ><

Those both sound like good schedules. I don’t think you’ll fall behind. They offer POLI 11 in the winter as well but they also offer MUS 4 in the spring, so either way. And all those classes are makeable on foot in 10 minutes.
