Scheduling classes for senior year.

I’m currently a junior and scheduling classes for next year.
I’m currently taking l planning on taking senior year
AP LA (A) l AP Physics C
APUSH (A-) l AP American Gov
AP Calc AB (A) l AP Calc BC

Journalistic writing (A) l Journalistic writing
AP Spanish language (A) l Ap psychology
Physics (A) l LA of some sort (philosophy/speech/sci-fi)

Next year I want to take AP physics but I haven’t taken chemistry yet, I talked to my counselor and she can’t guarantee me a double with AP physics and Chemistry. I’m wondering if top universities have an issue if I haven’t taken chemistry. Should I try to take it over the summer at a community college or not worry about it? I’m interested in pursuing Pre-med in college, so I’m assuming this would be an important class?

Additionally, I’ve heard that there are certain California schools that don’t accept Speech as a language arts credit, is this true or just rumor. I want to keep my college options open at all costs. Please let me know what you know about this topic.

An help is much apreciated thanks

If you plan on applying to any California UC or Cal state, 4 years of English are required. Speech falls under a college prep elective (g) along with Journalism (g). Here is a list of the required a-g courses if you are interested.
